Broadband without a landline: important information about your package
- If you have a home or business phone number, you’ll lose it by placing an order for broadband without a landline service. If you wish to keep your landline service we will move your number to our VoIP service called (Digital Voice For Home) & (Digital Voice Hosted For Business).
- There will be no dial tone and you won’t be able to make or receive calls, including emergency calls, on your phone line. To dial the emergency services you’ll need to use a mobile phone.
- Any services and personal alarms which are connected to your phone line will stop working and you’ll lose your existing home or business phone number.
- You won’t be able to get your home or business phone number back again and will be allocated a new number if you later decide to move back to a broadband with landline phone service.

To switch or activate new broadband service take between 10- 14 working days on our flex and standard broadband service.
As for full fibre broadband switching from existing FTTP service to ours can take up to 14 working days, If a new connection is need this can take up to 30+ working days depending if it stage 1 or stage 2 install.
We will require installation by an Openreach engineer. An appointment date and arrival time slot will be agreed when you place your order, this can be changed up to 48 hours prior to the appointment date. The installation typically takes 1-2 hours. If the appointment is missed due to the engineer being unable to get access to your property you may be charged.

City fibre & Openreach Survey: In some cases City Fibre and Openreach have to carry out a survey before they can connect a home or business to Full Fibre. To do this they may need access to your property. If they do we’ll contact you to arrange a suitable time. If additional work is required, this may take longer than the initial set-up time provided and there could be additional costs. Our team of specialists will contact you to confirm what additional work is needed and how long this will take, usually within four weeks from the date your order was placed. If you don’t want to proceed with your upgrade based on this, you will be able to cancel your order and no charges will be applied to your account. The connection fee involves activating your broadband service. If you do not have a compatible line or require an additional line at a new or existing property or business premise the connection fee will increase to £135.00 to install a new line and activate your broadband service.
This does exclude full-fiber broadband products which would require openreach or city fiber to do site survey on new full-fiber installation.
No telephone is not included with any of our broadband services this is because we treat broadband and telephone as two separate products. If you wish to have a voice element with your broadband you can purchase our (VoIP ) service called digital voice.
